OSRAM improves Lok-it! system
Whether concert arena, sports stadium or megadisco – the new star in entertainment lighting is called Lok-it!. Thanks to the perfect combination of new base and holder, this unique lamp system has now become even more versatile than ever. The clou of the Lok-it! lamps: their special bayonet socket with holder system allows for one-hand lamp replacement without any tools.
The modular Lok-it! system is a valuable addition to stage lighting. With two different lamp bases and matching holders, it is now more versatile than ever.
The Lok-it! system is a veritable all-round talent. The basic technical principle of the bayonet system comprising of the lamp base and holder for halogen lamps as well as for quartz and ceramic discharge lamps makes handling particularly easy. Lok-it! allows for easy and safe lamp replacement within seconds with just one turn. Simply insert, give the lamp a quarter turn and it is locked in position and accurately aligned. A mechanical stop prevents the lamp from being turned too far. A real relief for stage lighting as the system makes it easy and safe to fit spotlights with new lamps – even under difficult conditions such as at great height. Whether high efficiency, an extra long service life or maximum color rendering – Lok-it! provides the right solution for any stage show.
New lamp base and holder combination
New in the Lok-it! range: quartz discharge and halogen lamps of different wattages with improved PGJX50 base couple perfectly with the innovative PGJ50 holder for cold lamp ignition. Due to its compact design, the holder can be used in a wide range of luminaires, thus making it particulaly versatile. As a further innovation, the powerful and efficient Lok-it! HTI 1500W/60/P47 or /P50 discharge lamp in short arc technology now ensures even greater luminous efficacy on stage.
Versatile and robust – ideal for creative lighting design
The modularity and versatility of the Lok-it! system gives luminaire manufacturers enormous freedom of design. Depending on the requirement, OEMs can now use various lamp technologies and lamps with different light color and service life – making it the ideal system for creative and varied lighting concepts.But Lok-it! has further crucial advantages. Provided with a particularly robust base and holder system, its special quick lock mechanism fixes the lamp securely in the holder and prevents it from becoming detached and falling out during transport in the flight case.
